Created in collaboration with New Zealand artist Jacqueline Anne Roper, the Pakati design draws inspiration from the rich traditions of Māori whakairo (carving). Combining cultural artistry with a refined, contemporary aesthetic, this design transforms a traditional carving motif into a striking golf polo that feels both timeless and distinctly Kiwi.

In this artwork, Jacqueline has incorporated elements of a Pakati pattern found within her marae in Taranaki. In traditional whakairo, Pakati refers to the distinctive notched pattern that runs between parallel lines, a motif recognised for its precision, craftsmanship and visual rhythm. Through Jacqueline's contemporary interpretation, this traditional carving element is transformed into a modern design that honours heritage while remaining effortlessly wearable.
