Are Kiwi Classic shirts easy care?

Yes. Kiwi Classic shirts are designed to be easy-care and low-maintenance. The fabric is our own custom weave, designed to our specs to be lightweight, comfortable and travel-friendly, making it ideal for everyday wear, holidays and special occasions. Simply wash, hang and wear, with minimal effort required to keep your shirt looking great.

Do Kiwi Classic shirts need ironing?

Most customers find little or no ironing is required. Kiwi Classic shirts are made from easy-care fabric that resists creasing and travels exceptionally well. For best results, remove your shirt promptly after washing and hang it to dry. A light touch-up iron can be used if desired, but many customers simply wash, hang and wear.

What is the difference between Tailored Fit and Relaxed Fit?

Our Tailored Fit has a more shaped silhouette with a curved hem for a smarter, more streamlined look and two side back pleats. Our Relaxed Fit offers extra room through the chest and waist with a straight hem for easy everyday wear, and one center box pleat. If you prefer a roomier fit, choose Relaxed. Many Kiwi Classic designs are produced in limited runs and may not be repeated once sold through. Kia ora, I’m Anna – a graphic designer and illustrator who loves creating design that tell a story. I work with purpose-driven, people-focused brands to bring their ideas to life through design, illustration, and pattern. Whether it’s a full brand identity for a business, a social campaign, or a print on a product – I’m all about making work that feels thoughtful, warm, and well put together.

I live in Wellington with my whānau and split my time between freelance projects, part-time design work in the non-profit space, and wrangling two curious kids. Lately I’ve been working with brands doing great things – community organisations, social enterprises, and businesses that care. If it’s a project with heart, I’m in.

print was inspired by the mānuka tree – understated but strong, and so full of life. I started with hand-drawn sketches of the flowers and leaves, and added a few bees buzzing around to bring it to life.

It’s the kind of scene you’d spot on a summer bush walk – bees darting between tiny blossoms, everything quietly humming. I wanted the pattern to feel soft, natural and a bit playful, like the world is doing its thing and you’ve just stopped to notice.

I loved working with Kaleo to turn this into something wearable.

Shipping & Returns

Shipping:

We process orders within 24–48 hours of receipt and dispatch on the next postal business day. All parcels are sent with tracking, and tracking details will be provided by email once your order has been shipped.

Please ensure your delivery address is entered correctly. If no one is available at the delivery address, the courier may leave the parcel in a safe place at their discretion. Delivery timeframes are estimates only and are not guaranteed once your parcel has been dispatched with the courier. Kaleo Designs is not liable for delays, loss, damage, or parcels delivered to an incorrectly supplied address.

Returns & Exchanges:

If you are not completely happy with your purchase, items may be returned in new, unworn condition with original tags attached within 30 days of purchase for an exchange or refund to the original payment method.

Exchanges are permitted one time only per order/item. For customers within New Zealand, the exchange will be re-sent at no additional shipping cost. Any further exchange requests will be at the cost of the customer. Please check availability of exchanged product prior to returning product to us, or call us.

Refunds will be issued less any original shipping costs incurred by Kaleo Designs in sending your order, plus a $15 processing fee.
