Do Kiwi Classic shirts need ironing?

Most customers find little or no ironing is required. Kiwi Classic shirts are made from easy-care fabric that resists creasing and travels exceptionally well. For best results, remove your shirt promptly after washing and hang it to dry. A light touch-up iron can be used if desired, but many customers simply wash, hang and wear.

What is the difference between Tailored Fit and Relaxed Fit?

Our Tailored Fit has a more shaped silhouette with a curved hem for a smarter, more streamlined look and two side back pleats. Our Relaxed Fit offers extra room through the chest and waist with a straight hem for easy everyday wear, and one center box pleat. If you prefer a roomier fit, choose Relaxed. About the Artist

PIU PIU FERN by Lisa Baudry.

"As botanist Bob Chinnock writes in his 1974 book “Ferns and Fern Allies of New Zealand”...”New Zealand is renowned the world over for the abundance and variety of its fern life. There are 151 species of fern and 19 fern-allies representing twenty- three families which grace it’s forest floors, trees, stream banks, open hillsides and even coastal cliffs.” I love depicting lesser known ferns in my work, and this design features the Piupiu (crown fern) or Blechnum discolor."

I was fortunate enough to discover my love of drawing and painting at art class in high school and felt drawn to pursue an artistic career. I moved from the family farm where I was raised to Auckland to study graphic design at Auckland Institute of Technology. My first creative jobs were in home decor, painting ceramics for several Auckland tableware companies. I loved seeing how a decorative design could sell a product. In 2014, after about a decade in the graphic design field, I got re-acquainted with the field of surface pattern design and since then have had some wonderful opportunities to develop my work in this direction. I love going for walks in nature and my patterns often get inspired by what I discover there. I observe and photograph plants that catch my eye, and if possible collect specimens to draw back in my studio.

We process orders within 24–48 hours of receipt and dispatch on the next postal business day. All parcels are sent with tracking, and tracking details will be provided by email once your order has been shipped.

Please ensure your delivery address is entered correctly. If no one is available at the delivery address, the courier may leave the parcel in a safe place at their discretion. Delivery timeframes are estimates only and are not guaranteed once your parcel has been dispatched with the courier. Kaleo Designs is not liable for delays, loss, damage, or parcels delivered to an incorrectly supplied address.

Returns & Exchanges:

If you are not completely happy with your purchase, items may be returned in new, unworn condition with original tags attached within 30 days of purchase for an exchange or refund to the original payment method.

Exchanges are permitted one time only per order/item. For customers within New Zealand, the exchange will be re-sent at no additional shipping cost. Any further exchange requests will be at the cost of the customer. Please check availability of exchanged product prior to returning product to us, or call us.

Refunds will be issued less any original shipping costs incurred by Kaleo Designs in sending your order, plus a $15 processing fee.
