Tailored vs Relaxed

Tailored is more contoured to the body (not tight fitting) with a curved bottom hem. Relaxed offers more room through the chest and waist with a straight bottom hem.

Relaxed fits slightly roomier through the body and shoulders than Tailored in the same size.

About the Artist

Our Mid Century Kiwiana print was created exclusively for Kaleo by artist Mikaere Henderson.

Mikaere Henderson is he uri o te iwi Ngāti Pikiao and graduated from Massey University with a Bachelor of Design. Originally from Rotorua, Mike has worked extensively in the fashion industry in both Australia and Europe. Now residing in Kerikeri, Mike produces artworks inspired by Te Taiao (the natural world), a love of which was transferred to him by his grandmother at a young age.

This playful nostalgic design features Kiwi, Tui, Hāpuku, Pīwakawaka and Koru - icons that capture the cultural heritage of Aotearoa New Zealand. Reminiscent and inspired by the vintage style of 1950s/60s Kiwiana souvenir tea towels and barkcloth curtains, the print utilises the clean lines and simplicity of mid-century modern design. A perfect fit for those who appreciate Aotearoa’s unique flora and fauna, and for adding a touch of retro style to your wardrobe.

Shipping: We process orders within 24–48 hours of receipt and ship out the next postal day. All parcels are sent with tracking, and these details are provided in an email upon dispatch.Please enter your address carefully; if no one is home the courier may leave the parcel in a safe place at their discretion. Delivery timeframes are not guaranteed and Kaleo is not liable for loss, damage, or misaddressed parcels.

Returns: If you are not completely happy, you can return items in new, unworn condition with original tags within 30 days for an exchange or a refund to the original payment method. Exchanges within NZ are re-sent at no extra shipping cost. Original shipping is not refundable and, for refunds, any shipping paid by us may be deducted.
