Are Kiwi Classic shirts easy care?

Yes. Kiwi Classic shirts are designed to be easy-care and low-maintenance. The fabric is our own custom weave, designed to our specs to be lightweight, comfortable and travel-friendly, making it ideal for everyday wear, holidays and special occasions. Simply wash, hang and wear, with minimal effort required to keep your shirt looking great.

Do Kiwi Classic shirts need ironing?

Most customers find little or no ironing is required. Kiwi Classic shirts are made from easy-care fabric that resists creasing and travels exceptionally well. For best results, remove your shirt promptly after washing and hang it to dry. A light touch-up iron can be used if desired, but many customers simply wash, hang and wear.

What is the difference between Tailored Fit and Relaxed Fit?

Our Tailored Fit has a more shaped silhouette with a curved hem for a smarter, more streamlined look and two side back pleats. Our Relaxed Fit offers extra room through the chest and waist with a straight hem for easy everyday wear, and one center box pleat. If you prefer a roomier fit, choose Relaxed. Many Kiwi Classic designs are produced in limited runs and may not be repeated once sold through. This helps keep our collections fresh and allows us to continually showcase new artwork from New Zealand artists. About the Artist

KAWAKAWA PRINT by Jacqueline Anne Roper.

This design was inspired by the Kawakawa found on trail walks-its vibrant glossy green heart shaped leaves are often bug bitten and droopy with moisture.

Jacqueline was born in Stratford, Taranaki New Zealand, and has been designing clothing since a very young age. As a talented designer, Jacqueline has spent many years crafting her skills in fashion and textile design, with a very successful career working in Tokyo, Paris, Los Angeles….and eventually finding her way back home to Hamilton, New Zealand.Jacqueline has recently launched her own line of luxury womenswear, Jaqueline Ann Couture, and opened a beautiful boutique in Parnell, Auckland. Jacqueline is also a keen rugby coach when time permits, and a bit of a fan of the All Blacks rugby team. Jaqueline is a direct descendant of Chief Te Mahutu and Te Waikaungarangi of the Te Āti Awa Iwi, from Pukerangiora Pa, in Taranaki. Jacqueline has been studying for the last three years at Te Wananga O Aotearoa,in Toi (Maori and indigenous art).

Jaqueline has contributed as one of Kaleo’s fashion designers, creating and consulting in all things relating to apparel, surface pattern design, colourways, and styles. This design was inspired by the Kawakawa found on trail walks-its vibrant glossy green heart shaped leaves are often bug bitten and droopy with moisture.

Shipping:

We process orders within 24–48 hours of receipt and dispatch on the next postal business day. All parcels are sent with tracking, and tracking details will be provided by email once your order has been shipped.

Please ensure your delivery address is entered correctly. If no one is available at the delivery address, the courier may leave the parcel in a safe place at their discretion. Delivery timeframes are estimates only and are not guaranteed once your parcel has been dispatched with the courier. Kaleo Designs is not liable for delays, loss, damage, or parcels delivered to an incorrectly supplied address.

Returns & Exchanges:

If you are not completely happy with your purchase, items may be returned in new, unworn condition with original tags attached within 30 days of purchase for an exchange or refund to the original payment method.

Exchanges are permitted one time only per order/item. For customers within New Zealand, the exchange will be re-sent at no additional shipping cost. Any further exchange requests will be at the cost of the customer. Please check availability of exchanged product prior to returning product to us, or call us.

Refunds will be issued less any original shipping costs incurred by Kaleo Designs in sending your order, plus a $15 processing fee.
